how to make accounts for my web site?
ok I’m doing a web site for my class. im using cpanel as my web host and netobject fusion essentials to build my web site now im trying to let my visitors to have their own account so they can interact with each other … just like myspace maybe not as complex as myspace but you know people can have their own accounts log in name and passwords… any we b site that you think it can help me or other suggestion would be great

If you’re planning on designing a site (and you have PHP) you should look for a user management package that you can adapt to your needs.
CMS might be “alright” but my experience with things like that is that they tend to get in the way. (and have too many bloated features) feature creep is a common software disease effecting everything (even some of my stuff :-/ )

What you want is something that handles the user logins and ONLY the user logins – nothing else. Then you build your other custom site features on top of it.
You could write your own, but they do get a little complicated when it’s time to integrate them.
