I have moved the website to a geocities (yahoo) host.
How do I get the YAHOO search to respond (or re-cache) from the new host. Hopefully, without losing the 1st page rank.

You need to do a 301 redirect pointing to the new page. There are online tutorials on how to do it at the SEO Revolution (paid membership site).
