Help! having trouble uploading webpage to my hosting?
Hope someone can help me with the following:
I have set up a web page in dreamweaver mx and bought web hosting from Godaddy and need to upload my hosting to web page.
I have gone onto site definition in dreamweaver and have inputted FTP info which i am sure is correct, yet when I click on the test connection button. I get the following error.
‘A ftp error occurred cannot make connection to host. 530 user cannot log in’
What am i doing wrong. please help

Set up all your info with Filezilla, then use that to upload. The problem is that you need to prove you can have access to the directories.
I don’t use Dreamweaver, but that is likely the problem.
